MKL Students Carry Out Student Go International Activities

The Student Go International (SGI) activity is one of the UNDIP World Class University (WCU) programs. The Faculty of Public Health carried out this activity in collaboration with Prevenue Malaysia, which is a unit engaged in Building Capacity. This activity is a follow-up to the MOU that was signed between FKM UNDIP and the Prevenue.

The activity lasted for 3 days from 25-27 July 2022, taking place in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The material given is APPLICATIONS IN ENVIRONMENTAL AND OCCUPATIOANL TOXICOLOGY By Provenue Corporation Sdn Bhd and Universitas Diponegoro. There were 25 students who participated, consisting of 17 master students and 8 undergraduate students from the Environmental Health section.

The materials provided in these activities are as follows :

1)   Principles of toxicology (Prof. Dr. Jamal H. Hashim)
2)   Toxicology for health risk assessment (Prof. Dr. Jamal H. Hashim)
3)   Application in environmental toxicology (Prof. Dr. Zailina Hashim)
4)   Applications in occupational toxicology (Prof. Dr. Victor Hoe)
5)   Applications in radiation toxicology (Dr. Agus
6)   Applications in environmental impact assessment (AP Ir. Dr. Mursid Raharjo)
7)   Visit to an air quality monitoring station, Putrajaya (PSTW Sdn Bhd)

Visit to SERASI toxicology laboratory, UKM (AP Dr Razinah Sharif, UKM) Forum on applications of toxicology in research and impact assessment.
